Grocery, Wine Shop, and Café to learn about their local practices.
Resturant to enjoy a transparent meal and discussion.
This is a tour on Sustainable Foods, Sites and Shops with an enthusiast. You’ll get to taste & explore how they are putting the principles of food sustainability to practice. The bites that I pick will be popular amongst local patrons.
After our walking tour, we’ll settle for a nice meal at our last stop. There we’ll get to chat and answer any follow-up questions you may have about tapping into the consumer power to actively improve our food and zero waste systems.
After this experience, you’ll know what to look for back in your hometown to shop & eat like a sustainable foodie. You will also have a better understanding of what makes a company sustainable.

This is a walking tour, going to many places. Please dress in comfortable shoes, and weather appropriate clothing. We meet in front of the Barclay’s, there’s a Starbucks there you can wait inside. I will have an Airbnb bag.

A Coffee shop – for a nice ethically sourced roast
A Grocery/ Wine shop /Cafe – to shop like a sustainable Brooklynite.
A Eatery – Locally sourced and prepared fresh daily by chefs who are passionate about sustainability.
A Bakery – A NY staple of artisan bread and pastries, serving locally roasted coffee.
